OVERVIEW: Established by Congress in 1974, the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) is the country's single largest funder of civil legal aid for low-income Americans. LSC currently funds 132 independent nonprofit legal aid organizations with more than 800 offices throughout the nation. LSC's mission is to promote equal access to justice and provide grants for high-quality civil legal assistance to low-income Americans.
LSC's Executive Office consists of the President, the Vice President for Grants Management, the Chief of Staff, the Special Assistant to the President, the Executive and Board Project Coordinator, and the Executive Coordinator. The Executive Office oversees the implementation of policies set by LSC's Board of Directors, and manages the Corporation's operations, including the planning, development, and implementation of all major LSC initiatives.
This position will require working from an office in Washington, D.C., but is teleworking until LSC returns to in-office work. The successful candidate must live in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Technical/Specialized:
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Proficiency in Smartsheet preferred.
HOURLY RATE:
This position is paid hourly. Hourly rate is based on class year:
$16.10 - 1st Year Students
$17.00 - 2nd Year Students
$18.00 - 3rd Year Students
$19.00 - 4th Year Students and Recent Graduates
